Enhancing the passing down of technology and our R&D system
In addition to South Korea, which has served as our main development base up to now, we have created a new development base in Japan in order to enhance our R&D and testing capabilities, as well as to continue expanding the scope of our business operations beyond automobile parts. Within the grounds of our Headquarters Kure Factory, we have constructed the “Benda Global Technical Center” to oversee the R&D functions of the Benda Group, and “Benda Engineering” as the home of functions such as facilities development. A display area named the “Benda Innovation Tech Gallery” has been created on the first floor of the “Benda Global Technical Center” to introduce the technology and history of our company.
Benda Global Technical Center
Amid the reorganization of overseas and domestic bases initiated by the ONE BENDA project, the construction of the new head office factory was launched as the most important project. A design plan that embodies the concept of President Yashiro was adopted, featuring a sophisticated design and facility functions that represent the ideal as a hub of technological expertise. The office design incorporates opinions from workshops and the Work Style Reform Promotion Committee, creating a comfortable working environment.
Benda Engineering
The development and maintenance of machinery and equipment that were previously conducted in Korea have been relocated to the head office, starting anew as Benda Engineering Co., Ltd. In addition to the traditional business, the company will engage in the development and sales of an operational visualization system.
Benda Innovation Tech Gallery
Beyond the sophisticated entrance hall, there is an arched factory-modeled entrance that leads to the Benda Innovation Tech Gallery. The gallery displays various gears, and the images projected from the ring-shaped motif lighting tell the story of the Benda method and ring gear outlines, which became the foundation of Benda Kogyo.
