Environmental Initiatives
Decarbonization Management
As part of our environmental initiatives, in our Third Medium-Term Management Plan, we implemented measures to reduce CO2 emissions towards achieving carbon neutrality. These measures included the adoption of electric forklifts, switching to LED lighting, and expanding solar panel installations. In our fourth medium-term management plan, we have set a target to reduce CO2 emissions by 17% (compared to 2013) over the next three years. We will work on streamlining production processes and revising workflows to achieve continuous reductions in raw material and electricity consumption.

Quality Initiatives
Our company is certified under IATF 16949 certification and operate a quality management system. Based on our quality policy of 'Quality is life,' we recognize and absorb customer needs, consistently create satisfactory products, and deliver reliable products. We promote improvement in all processes from design, manufacturing, supply, to after-sales service. Furthermore, we aim to build trust by having all employees maintain a quality awareness and providing products that exceed customer expectations.

Safety Initiatives
In our action guidelines formulated in 2023, it was established that "safety takes precedence over everything." This includes not only the safety of the workplace environment but also psychological safety, where individuals can feel secure in expressing their thoughts and feelings. We are working to eliminate occupational accidents by implementing measures such as risk assessments and traffic KYT(Kiken Yochi Training), aiming for zero occupational accidents.

Work Style Reform

With the slogan 'Aiming for a company with a good work-life balance while promoting diversity in work styles and enhancing added value and productivity,' we are working to improve 'ease of work,' where people can work comfortably and securely, and 'work satisfaction,' where employees can work enthusiastically and autonomously while feeling the value of working with us. In 2021, we were certified as a Work Style Reform Implementing Company for our efforts such as offering work style choices that match individual life stages, the birthday leave system, the reduction of long working hours, the telecommuting system, and the streamlining of operations through the introduction of software with workflow and groupware functions. Furthermore, in 2022, we received the runner-up Grand Prix at the 1st Hiroshima Work Style Conference for our new and ongoing initiatives such as the development of an education system and the training of in-house instructors, the verbalization of Mission/Vision/Value, lunch meetings with executives, the introduction of a mini-award system, the implementation of off-site meetings, and the realization of a fatigue-free factory. We are currently continuing the following initiatives and further promoting work style reform.
- Promotion of paid leave acquisition by setting the minimum number of paid leave days to be acquired
- Implementation of in-house lectures by in-house managers and qualification acquisition support system
- Realization of a fatigue-free factory through work automation and equipment modification
- Shortened working hours beyond legal standards
- Implementation of interdepartmental exchanges and internal recreation through communication assistance funds

Employee Health Management

In 2017, we announced our 'Employee Health Management Declaration' both internally and externally, stating our policy of 'Aiming to be a company where employees can continue to work healthily and for a long time,' and started our employee health management initiatives. We have implemented various measures such as establishing an employee cafeteria and introducing healthy beverages into vending machines, and our efforts have been recognized as we have been certified as an Excellent Health Management Corporation (Small and Medium Enterprise Category) for six consecutive years since 2019.
