• 2016.12.19 A ceremony was held to mark the completion of the new Kurose plant (Current Plant No. 1), which was handed over to us on August 4, and the installation of the equipments was completed.
• 2016.08.04 We had been handed over the new Kurose Plant (Current Plant No. 1) which has been under construction since held a ground-breaking ceremony on March 1. The Kurose Plant will now have an integrated production system from rolled materials to ring products.
• 2016.07.08 We received a tour of our factory in Daegu, Korea. Eleven people from the Daegu Free Economic Zone Authority and the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited us to observe our manufacturing processes.
• 2016.06.17 The 53rd annual general meeting of shareholders was held. Mr. Matsumoto, a tax accountant, has been appointed as a new corporate auditor.
• 2016.05.19 Benda Sunkwang Industrial, a South Korean group company, has been awarded the 2016 Korea Global Industry Award.
• 2016.05.16 We conducted the third safety audit for Qingdao Benda, one of our overseas group companies. This time, in addition to the safety audit, we implemented practical training in risk assessment to eliminate the sources of workplace hazards.
• 2016.04.15 Benda Sunkwang Industrial Co., Ltd., a Group company in South Korea, commemorated the 30th anniversary of the founding of the company during a ceremony at the Ramada Songdo Hotel in Incheon.
• 2016.04.02 A local development business matching event, sponsored by the Yamaguchi Financial Group, was held at the Clayton Bay Hotel in Kure City. 32 companies in the Kure area participated, as well as approximately 300 branch managers from three banks in the Yamaguchi Financial Group, to discuss methods of activating the local economy.
• 2016.03.01 A groundbreaking ceremony was held to pray for safe construction on the new plant scheduled built on the lot in the Kurose Industrial Complex acquired last September. The plant is scheduled to be completed in August.
• 2016.02.15 After being selected last August to receive a grant from the Kure Industrial Promotion Center, we began planning the production of a movie about the history of our technology. A total of six hours of filming was edited down to the core content, resulting in 40-minute final cut.
