In 2014, the Benda Group formulated its first medium-term management plan. The "ONE BENDA Project" serves as its core pillar. To pursue the ideal state of the Benda Group, we have since advanced through phases every three years, striving to achieve our strategy. Moving forward, instead of being overwhelmed by environmental changes, we will strive to develop new products that adapt to the environment, enhance our manufacturing base, and build a strong management system.

What is the "ONE BENDA Project" 2nd?

The Benda Group has experienced massive changes in the external environment surrounding the Benda Group including shifting from Japan and South Korea to newly developing countries like China, and increased sales in the assembly area.
We have created the “One Benda System” as a means to achieve strategic business expansion with the entire Benda Group working together in order to achieve the speed and flexibility of the entire group that is required to continue to expand our global share.
In order to implement these strategies, we added a new Quality Project with the Second Medium-Term Plan to the four Projects (Development/Design, Sales/Marketing, Production/Procurement, and Business Management) started with the First Medium Term Plan, and are promoting it accordingly.

Establishment of a system required for a Global Tier 1 technology-driven company.

In the second medium-term management plan, "ONE BENDA Project" 2nd, we focused on strengthening our assembly business. As a result, we have stablished the development, quality assurance, BCP measures, and various management structures required for a "global Tier 1 technology-driven company" as follows:

  • In 2018, we established a new head office factory in the Naeshiro Industrial Park in Kure City as part of strengthening our domestic manufacturing base, including BCP measures.
  • In 2018, Shenyang branch factory of Yancheng Benda commenced operations to strengthen our presence in the Chinese market.
  • In 2019, we restructured our two bases in South Korea and China. Benda Sunkwang consolidated its scattered factories and warehouses into a new factory in Incheon, establishing a production system for increased output through centralization. Yancheng Benda relocated to the Yancheng Economic and Technological Development Zone.
  • A Quality Project was added, and five ONE BENDA Projects (Development & Design, Sales & Marketing, Production & Procurement, Business Management, and Quality) were promoted.
  • All Benda Group sites obtained IATF 16949 certification (an international quality management system standard for the automotive industry). At the same time, we have established a supply system to the global market from our Asian locations, including Japan, and executed a growth strategy that maximizes the comprehensive strength of the Benda Group.
